Jun Hong Lu (, born 4 August 1959) is a Grand Buddhist Master. He is the President of 2OR Australia Oriental Radio (2OR).〔http://guanyincitta.com/en/〕 Lu has been greatly influenced by Confucianism and Buddhism since childhood, and he has strong passion for Buddhist studies and Buddhist education. Since he received guidance from several senior monastics and great Buddhist mentors, he has attained a deep understanding of Buddhism. Over the past ten years, with extraordinary dedication and compassion, Master Lu has been using Buddhist combine traditional Chinese culture teach, influence and help people. Lu is also the President of the Australian Chinese Buddhist Research Centre. For the past decade, Master Lu has been contributing to world peace, and promoting the cultural exchange between Australia and China. The Unity of Faiths Festival was one of the events in celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. In September 2012, Master Lu was invited to give a public talk at Harvard University. This award is recognised and honoured by Her Majesty the Queen for members of the British Community for their contribution to British Society. At the conference, global leaders gathered together to discuss the ways to make world peace a reality.
